Control Versus Contentment

Control Versus Contentment

The sooner we let go of the notion and reel in the behaviour that we control anything but our own actions and behaviour – the more CONTENT and EFFECTIVE we become.

Other people are exerting their will, and circumstances are doing their own thing all the time.

Everything, test me on this, everything, that is outside of ourselves is transient, fickle, inconsistent.

I’m not saying sit in the Lotus position and let life wash over you and omit the control systems.

It’s a basic but super critical tenet of self awareness. To be concious to the issue that you are fretting about, trying to contain, casting regrets over is either within your control or not.

Everyday I catch myself expending precious energy over stuff that is completely outside of my control. Talk about optimum time management and being productive…
