Trust – Leaping Into The Unknown.

Trust – Leaping Into The Unknown.

If Trust is so important a foundation of productive relationships how come we  often are ‘waiting’ for the ‘other’ to give it out before we pass it back?

With Trust and Teams, we can either be an active participant in building its currency – or be a passive bystander hoping it will somehow manifest.

The Transaction of Trust Formula = If you Want it – Give it.

The more you want – the more you have to give.

That’s a tough ask.

It’s tough because it requires risk and vulnerability with potentially little reward. In essence, a leap of faith.

Forming Teams often stumble with Trust as they are playing the waiting game. In reality, projects are too short to afford the wait. Someone has to ‘go first’. Fortune favours the brave?

When you catch yourself wishing ‘the other’ demonstrated more Trust of you, ask yourself how much you are giving to them – how far are you leaping? (See transaction of trust formula)
